What Does "DPI" Stand For?

"DPI" is short for "Discount Photographic Imagination." Our founders initially created this fun play on words to express our goals (i.e., "dpi" or "dots per inch" is the resolution of digital images). Discount Photographic Imagination is a bit of a mouthful, though, so we prefer just "DPI"!

Our Goals

Our goals are to glorify God and to serve those who serve Him. All DPI profits go to the direct support of full-time work in the least-reached parts of our world! DPI was created to provide a high-quality product that is affordable on a typical ministry budget. We have done everything possible to keep expenses low so that prices remain low. At the same time, DPI is determined that all profits go back into the missionary/ministry community by employing professional designers who are already in ministry in one form or another and know what it is like to live with a ministry budget.

How Does DPI Keep Prices so LOW?

Because one of our primary goals is to save money for our missionary brothers and sisters, we do everything we can to limit overhead expenses while keeping quality high. We have established agreements with press printers and photo-development companies to print for us at reduced prices which we then pass on to our customers.

Why Should I Consider DPI?

There are many reasons why you should continue DPi's other services, like Prayer Cards, Prayer Letters, or Ministry Design. But there is only one reason you should consider DPI's Internet Security service: we are committed to keeping you on the field! We don't want to let any missionary get taken off the field because of compromised security.
